Brothers,
One of the most revealing of all the Scriptures in terms of Yeshua coming and sitting on a throne HERE, not in someplace called "heaven".
Matthew 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
Take note He clears "heaven" (where He is currently) of all the angels. Why?
Take note also that when He comes, THEN He will sit on His throne of glory.
Get ready guys - these are days of preparation, not slumber. The FIRE looms and will reveal all. Then, those who are prepared, clothed properly, fruitful will be chosen to represent/serve the King of Kings in His glorious Kingdom, after which (1000 years of righteous reigning and cleansed of all ungodliness) He will present the kingdom to His Father when the New Jerusalem comes down from the heavens, which is the dwelling place of the Most High. 1Corinthians 15:24.
This is what it means to be called, and then chosen. Being chosen is contingent upon faithfulness. Faithfulness is measureable and will be weighed.
Chosen has to do with presenting ourselves workmen that do not need to be ashamed at His coming. He sifts out those who are not ready: e.g. the five virgins.
Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."
Revelation 17:14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful."
Called has nothing to do with you or your efforts -- it's by grace alone. This is glorious salvation. Chosen, however, is a different story. It is His response to our response to grace when we become like Him, grow in usefulness to Him, becoming worthy of being entrusted with 10 cities to reign over with true riches and a crown of righteousness. It is the inheritance of those who love Him.
Notice:
Matthew 25:14-30 "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.
And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.
Then he who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and made another five talents.
And likewise he who had received two gained two more also.
But he who had received one went and dug in the ground, and hid his lord's money.
After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them.
"So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, 'Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.'
His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
He also who had received two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.'
His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'
"Then he who had received the one talent came and said, 'Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.'
"But his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed.
So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest.
So take the talent from him, and give it to him who has ten talents.
'For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.
And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Please teach your sons what they face and the consequences of their daily choices now as they are actually writing their resume to the King of Kings. When we live in the light of this accounting Day, we nurture the organic, Spirit-born fear of the LORD (not that taught by the commandment of men). This we need as that which will draw us to Him and keep us faithful to the end.
We have few days left. Faithfully teach your children. There should be no surprises on that Day!
Look up, the Fire is lit,

Now, Before the Day
There is an era of the church our Lord, with grief, reveals
Is marked by cold indifference, no passion, love or zeal.
Dead to true condition, there’s no asking, no pursuit -
Oh, we said the prayer to Jesus but we haven’t got the fruit.
Unless our way is fully paved with stones of righteous deeds,
May we n’er ascend a pulpit to declare our deadly creeds.
If our acts among the sons of men promote and sell ourself,
May our poems and our books remain upon a dusty shelf.
To speak with treach’rous heart is so repugnant to our LORD
Who, in submission to His will, is also judged for His own word!
So, to teach a path we do not know as if we frequent there
Is fraud of very highest cost we will forever bear.
The Fi-re will destroy the frame of what’s been built by lie
As deception blinds us thoroughly, and then, we’ll ask Him “Why?”
“We’ve ministered in Jesus’ name; we yearn for great return!
How could it all be ashes now; how could our works just burn?”
He answers bluntly to the point that He does not know them;
The issue is their lawlessness He righteously condemns.
The Quintessential Legalist, He does not compromise –
No fellowship for those who do what’s right in their own eyes.
He answers justly and with love; it’s just that we can’t bear
The Truth of our condition ‘cause we thought our sin was rare.
“Repent, with zeal” is His command; there’s time to mend your way.
The hour to fix the problem, friend, is now, before the Day!
